Our learners gain real-world work experience while also gaining transferable skills to thrive in a competitive work environment.

Each year, our Transition Fair is attended by approximately 300 participants from our community and features over 40 programs that host booths and network with one another to enhance support to families and young adults.Programs

Realizing that students have individual learning styles and needs, Gateway provides a highly structured and individualized program in a success oriented environment where students learn and grow together.
Gateway Academy believes that a balance of strong academics, good research-based teaching, physical activity, and a collaborative counseling approach make our middle and high school program unique to the Houston Area.
The cornerstone to our program is our strong academic program.
We have taken a typical Middle and High School curriculum and transformed it to meet the needs of our student population.
Our goal is to give our students the skills to graduate from Gateway Academy with a diploma in hand, ready to tackle college or vocational endeavors.
Gateway teachers come to us ready to teach with an expertise of their field and a heart for our students.

Gateway Academy is my home. Our group of faculty & staff respects, cares, and listens as we work to determine the best path for each child as they enter young adulthood. Students come for academics and support but they leave with social awareness, self-understanding, employment experience, true friendships, and a voice.

Gateway Academy is a school like no other! Staff are passionate about teaching neurodiverse learners, and strive to give each student an immersive educational experience. I love working at The Gateway Academy! As a staff member, it is incredibly rewarding to be able to teach and engage with our amazing group of students and parents.
