We feel so lucky to be part of the SSKCA community! There is a holistic approach to education—not only is the curriculum challenging, but there is a concentration on values, faith and a variety of extracurricular activities to choose from. My children are not only educated but are happy and enthusiastic to go to school!

St. Stans is a wonderful Catholic Academy located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Our daughter has attended this school since Pre-K 4, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Before coming to St. Stans, she attended several other schools and often left in tears. However, on her very first day at St. Stans, she was filled with joy and excitement. One of the standout features of St. Stans is the smaller class sizes, which allow for more personalized attention and support. The teachers are informative and genuinely caring, creating a nurturing environment where the kids thrive. Our daughter loves her teachers, which speaks volumes about the school's positive atmosphere. Education is a priority, along with faith, family, and community. St. Stans offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes Spanish, computers, art, music, and gyms, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education that fosters creativity and critical thinking. They also have CYO basketball, volleyball, baseball, and many other after-school programs for the children to get involved and support each other. We are so grateful for the sense of community and belonging that St. Stans provides. It has truly been a transformative experience for our daughter, and we highly recommend this school to any parents seeking a nurturing and enriching educational environment for their children.

My name is Haylee, I am in the 8th grade and I am soon to be a graduate of the class of 2024. I first joined the school during 5th grade 2020 and my education here has been a journey since. My favorite things about the school are the education us as students get, the clubs we have such as weather club, dance club, stock market, etc. the sports our school provides such as volleyball, basketball, baseball, etc. and the amazing faculty that we have. The teachers are very supportive and guide everyone in the right direction all the time for example, during lessons we are very interactive during class discussions and we get enough attention during class that we deserve. The principal of our school Dr Green is also very supportive to all of us as students and takes our ideas for any new things we want to include in the school along with the Student Council which was first created in 2020. The president of our school Mr Carbone is a very enthusiastic teacher who creates a wonderful mood to our school especially during morning assemblies in which we receive N.U.T Cards ( No Uniform Today ) . Our school also performs exceptionally well on the Mathematics, English, and Science State Exams each year in which is a wonderful achievement to our school. These are the reasons why you should join St Stan's, especially because it is "Simply The Best!!"
