St. Mark's Cathedral School is a private Episcopal school that serves children ages Preschool 2 through Grade 8.
The mission of St. Mark`s Cathedral School is to value the individual who comes to us, to help that student realize his or her potential, and to foster a culture that reflects Christian values, intellectual curiosity, and a strong work ethic. Our goal is to develop a student who first feels self-confident educationally, socially, and spiritually, and who then can reach out to help others in our community.

For over sixty years now, St. Mark`s has been helping children
grow in wisdom and grace in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are a school
which is rich in tradition but mindful of the future, seeking to
blend the tried and true practices of the past with innovative
practices based upon contemporary research on learning.We seek to
help children develop their full and unique potential in an
environment of love. Our outstanding teachers are not only
knowledgeable in their fields but deeply committed to developing
strong personal relationships with each of their students.

about to graduate from the 8th grade, he or she will be nurtured
and challenged in developmentally appropriate and exciting ways.St.

There is no doubt St. Mark`s provides the best education from PS2-8th grade in the Shreveport-Bossier area. This school gave me the foundation to succeed in all areas of high school. I felt very ahead of my classmates from other schools. To this day, the school continues to thrive and uphold its reputation for its outstanding academics.
