Class is full for the 2024-2025 school year and we not accepting new students.
Have you heard of micro-schools, learning pods, hybrid learning, or one-room school houses? If so, then we are excited to share an introduction to a little one room school that opened fall of 2021 in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah. Meadow Ridge Academy offers a full-time private school and a blended-learning option at two different prices. Check out our FAQ on our website to learn more.
We also offer an optional Equine (horse) Assisted Learning program. Each week students go and work with horses as part of their academic goals. Check out our FAQ to learn more about this amazing program.
With our small class size and individual approach, we have seen academic gains of one to three grades in just one semester.
At Meadow Ridge Academy we will be teaching a Judeo-Christian Classical education using the Principle Approach in a one-room school.
We are currently offering 5th through 8th grades.
The vision and mission of Meadow Ridge Academy is to provide an individualized, mastery-based, classical Christian education for youth ages 11 through 19. We do this in partnership with the parents of the youth.

If you are doing the blended-learning with equine assisted learning option, tuition is $6000.00 per year. Both blended-learning options have the students using quality on-line or traditional paper and pencil programs for math and language arts at home and attending in person four mornings per week for science, history, writing, literature, and flex time. Full-day tuition is $8190 per year. A payment plan can be made from June through May. We also have an August through May payment plan. We have a 10% discount for each sibling for those with more than one full-time child in our school. Please email us about other payment plan options at meadowridgeacademy@protonmail.com. School Notes
- We are currently full for the 2024-2025 school year and not accepting new students.
- Meadow Ridge Academy provides the teacher-parent-student connection and commitment to help young scholars reach their educational goals. In a one-room school the focus is on mastery, not competition. We want your children to maintain or even strengthen your family's shared values, therefore we do not practice any current forms of social engineering in the classroom. The heart of our little school is academics, a Christian world-view, and preparing for college-level work. Whether or not your child chooses to attend college, she will be prepared to enter the "great conversation" of ideas that mankind has been discussing since the beginning of time.

As a parent of a pre-teen who struggled with traditional school, I found Meadow Ridge Academy to be just what my daughter needed at this time in her life. The small class size allowed for individual adaptations for each student`s needs. Mrs. Reed has an extensive background in many areas that enhanced the learning experience for all the students. In a world where the Public School environment has so many distracting messages and objectives, it was a comfort to know that at Meadow Ridge Academy, my daughter was able to focus on academics in a way that supported our teachings at home as well. Mrs. Reed was able to create a hands-on experience for the students that left them excited for the next lesson and cemented the knowledge in their long-term memories! Our family considers it a blessing to have found Meadow Ridge Academy.

I have had a great experience with Meadow Ridge Academy. Mrs. Reed is knowledgeable and experienced with a wide range of learning styles and challenges. She takes the time to get to know each student one on one and works with their personalities to achieve great results academically and socially. The lessons that Mrs. Reed develops are fun and engaging, and my kids come home full of stories about history and science and about the fun they had in class. The one-on-one attention that Mrs. Reed gives to the kids, even outside of school hours is amazing to me. She has spent many afternoons helping us figure out any hiccups we were having, or helping to motivate the kids in any areas where they feel a little discouraged. The structure and setting of the classes are perfect for the size of the group she serves. We have loved our time at Meadow Ridge Academy, and hope to keep up this fantastic learning relationship for years to come.
