I taught at the American Heritage of South Jordan for quite a few years. I love the teachers and students at the school. I love that it has Christian values and can be taught with our lessons and the school's love for our American Heritage. AHSJ has great positive attributes and like all schools not a perfect fit for everyone. Teachers coming and going from schools is not a new concept. There are fantastic teachers at this school and some have for personal reasons chosen to make changes in their careers and that is okay. I am so happy and excited about the teacher's new paths and for teachers going into AHSJ. Teachers have families and needs change and so do jobs. This year all schools and districts have seen a huge shuffling of teachers. What makes AHSJ unique is a close-knit school and as a whole, my classes were so fun because students looked out for each other. Yes, like all schools perhaps some drama, but AHSJ teachers worked through the drama with students. Parents had open communication with teachers and from big to small the majority of concerns were addressed as teamwork with parents. I have loved my time at AHSJ and know that some wonderful new teachers will carry on the tradition of loving the students at AHSJ.

My daughter has attended American Heritage for 5 years. We love it there. They have supported my daughter during the highs and lows in her life. They have supported her thru a divorce, medical issues, a special needs brother and much more. They have challenged her academically and also as a person. They have caused her to grow into an intelligent young lady, who seeks to befriend others. I love the opportunity given to me to be involved in my daughter's education and serve. Not only has my daughter gained friends but my best friends are now other parents and her former teachers all met thru serving and being involved with the school. The school is truly a family.

This school has been such an incredible blessing to our family. The staff is all so amazing, and the small class sizes mean my kids get the focus and attention I feel they deserve. I absolutely love the administration and truly know they have my children's best interests at heart.

American Heritage of South Jordan has been the best investment we have made for our children. The administration, the teachers and all other members of their staff have been wonderful. We were looking for a school that would provide a great education, small classroom sizes and a safe environment. American Heritage of South Jordan meets all of those with high marks. We have had our children there for a number of years and will continue to keep them there until graduation. Our children that have graduated from American Heritage of South Jordan, have all attended universities and colleges with great success. It would not have happened without the love and support of a great administration and staff. We continue to be in awe of the advantages our children have had with schooling, friends and their amazing sports program. Each year, American Heritage improves greatly with their classes, new staff that joins their amazing team and everything a thriving school would and could possibly do. If you are looking for a school that truly has your child''s education, growth, success and well-being in mind, then American Heritage of South Jordan is the place for you, as it has been for us.

The fundamental issues of the school, begins with the owners. From what my child and friends have educated me regarding the school and have this entire year, drives me to believe, this school will bomb in the following couple years. Why do I say this? My trust in Mrs. Yorgason has diminished, I believe her character needs to be brought into question. Where are the Board of Directors? The thing is the "top managerial staff" are, sit tight for it, Yorgason and her besties. The Board of Directors are to be separate from the office, so this puts all out control in Mrs. Yorgason`s lap. Where is accountability? Where are the voices of reason? Students are leaving in huge in packs, because of absence of kindness and mistreatment, once on the "you done me wrong " list you will be dealt with lack of respect from that point on out. Making more sport teams will not save the school. This school could be incredible, simply supplant authority with somebody whose character is straightforward, does not control, great to workers and understudies, treat families and teachers like they are not "replaceable" or treat all equally, including their very own youngsters. Unique treatment of specific families is unmitigatedly evident and an ignoble practice. I adore the school and a was big supporter, kinda wish my tyke would remain, yet in the wake of hearing every one of the grievances, not bits of gossip, I have my tyke's back and we are packing up and leaving. There to many other great educational facilities to pick from, this one has fallen from good graces. Good luck to this once amazing shrinking school.

I have gone to this school for more than ten years and can say that it is an awesome school. The class sizes are small with usually about twenty students which mean that you know everyone and the teachers can give you one on one attention. There are students from many different countries including Spain, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, The Philippians, Japan, and Hong Kong; which means that you learn a lot about their culture and expand your view of the world. We also have sport programs such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross country, dance, and a dirt biking team. The teams are amazing while the coaches teach you how to play and have good sportsmanship with life lessons along the way. All in all, I love this school and would recommend it to anyone.

We are so grateful to have found American Heritage of South Jordan! Here, we have found that the classic education approach to teaching inspires our children's minds and goes hand in hand with the faith-based values they instill. We are grateful for dedicated teachers who care deeply and carefully lay the perfect foundation for learning. We love the small class sizes, which allow each teacher to truly know their students and help them individually to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. Besides a strong academic curriculum, our students have also had the opportunity to participate in high school sports. It has been a motivating and uplifting experience to see our sons learn the importance of teamwork and integrity as they compete at the high school level. We sincerely enjoy the sense of family that we feel at this great school!

We love AHSJ! We have attended the school for 5 years now and it has been a wonderful experience for our family. The teachers and administrators are so great and truly care about each student. The smaller class sizes make it the perfect atmosphere for my boys that are on the Autism spectrum. The teachers have always been so great to work with my boys and to cater to their individual needs. I would highly recommend American Heritage of South Jordan!

We love American Heritage of South Jordan! All 6 of our kids have attended or are currently attending. Our 4 oldest kids have graduated from American Heritage and have all attended universities and colleges. We love the class size, the curriculum and the extra help they receive when needed. We are truly grateful for the education provided to our kids from the great teachers and staff at American Heritage of South Jordan.

This was the best move for my daughter. Public middle school is hard and overcrowded. Moving to AHSJ has made a world of difference. She is thriving in an environment that is safe and fulfilling. It is not only pushing her academically, but instilling values outside of the classroom. I am so thankful to have found this school. I would highly recommend it. I only wish I would have found it sooner.

We love AHSJ! I am so glad we made the switch from public school to private. I love the smaller class sizes, curriculum & values taught. At AHSJ you feel like you are part of a family.

Amazing School!!
This is our 3rd year at AHSJ. We love it! The class sizes are small which allows teachers to actually teach and keep distractions to a minimum. I can't say enough about the quality of teachers and administration at AHSJ. My girls' self-confidence (1st and 9th graders) has blossomed in this environment. They know their teachers love them and will do what ever it takes to help them succeed!

I believe that one of the reasons that my oldest daughter has done so well in public high school is that she learned how to study, think, and love learning from the great atmosphere and curriculum at American Heritage...she got an amazing education when she was young, which created the right foundation for continued success. Thank you to the wonderful teachers and administration staff for creating that for my children!

We have had our kids at American Heritage for several years now and have loved it! The biggest thing we have noticed is that our kids love to learn and love school. We have always had positive experiences with all the teachers and both the teachers and the administration listens to parents. Our kids have excelled in school and we also love the atmosphere there.

I love the education and experiences my children are receiving at American Heritage SJ. The staff and administration is concerned about each student and we have felt their continued dedication in all they do. We are looking forward to the new year and the addition of tablets for the students!
