Latham Christian Academy

Latham Christian Academy opened its doors in the fall of 1979 as a ministry of Latham Bible Baptist Church.
Through the years the school has served hundreds of families in the Capital District by offering a distinctively Christian educaiton designed to meet the spiritual, academic, and social needs of each child.
Our goal is provide a God-centered education from a God-centered worldview.
We believe that Christian education is mandated by God for Christian families.
Parents are commanded to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
God has established a testimony in us and has commanded us to make it known to our children so that the generations to come might know God and set their hope in Him.
Latham Christian Academy exists to work in partnership with the home and local church in order to give the next generation a truly Christian world and life view.
All of our teachers are born-again Christians who pray for their students and seek spiritual, as well as academic, growth in their students.
The goal of LCA is to train children to be Christ-like.
Biblical principles and positive character traits are taught to all students.
Each student attends a Bible class every day and a weekly chapel program on his or her level.
Weekly church attendance is required of secondary students and at least one parent.
