Welcome to Grace Christian Academy! We are a Junior Kindergarten trough 8th-grade Private Christian school, accredited with exemplary status byWELSSA (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation), ACTS (Association of Christian Teachers and Schools), NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation), and are recognized as a fully accredited private school in the Commonwealth of Virginia by the VCPE (Virginia Council for Private Education) as authorized by the Virginia Board of Education.
Established in 1973, Grace has been providing a Christian College Preparatory education to its scholars for nearly 50 years. Throughout the day, the word of God is applied and is the basis and guide for all learning and living. Jesus taught us to "seek first the kingdom of God" (Matt.6:33) and our program of Christian education is centered on this principle.

Grace Christian Academy is a Junior Kingergarten - 8th grade private, Christian school, located in Fairfax County, just minutes from the District of Columbia. GCA was established in 1973 and serves a diverse student body.Grace Christian Academy is a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) - one of the largest private school systems in the country.
Grace Christian Academy provides its students with an exceptional academic program, coupled with deep study in God's word. We offer small class sizes in a caring environment. Our low faculty-to-student ratio - 9:1 - sets our scholars up for success at GCA and beyond. Our mixed-grade classrooms give our faculty the unique opportunity to provide an education based on the individual needs and strengths of each scholar. Our graduates go on to thrive in our local public and private school systems, including Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate(IB) programs.
Our Mission: Grace ChristianAcademy exists to nurture its children and reach out to our community with a Bible-based Christian education. We provide each child with a superior education while developing the best skills for each individual to live a productive life. We believe that Christian education promotes the welfare of the entire person.
Grace Christian Academy is fully accredited by the National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). We offer strong academic programs through methods and materials in a safe, caring, and educational environment.
Our school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. with supervised after-school care and Homework Club continuing on well past the 3:30 bell. Our school day includes:
- Deep study and growth in God`s word
- Rigorous, challenging, and adaptive lessons in Math, Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Social Studies, Science, and Computer Literacy
- Attention to fine arts through Physical Education, and our exploratory programs which include Spanish, German, French, Italian, Home Economics/Life Skills, Tone Chimes, and Photography.

We are so very pleased that our granddaughter is receiving an excellent education in a loving, caring, and intellectually challenging environment that espouses and lives out strong Christian values. The teachers and staff exemplify those values in addition to their high academic qualifications. Our granddaughter loves going to school each day!
