Young children learn by doing and at St. Anastasia School we have prepared a program that allows each child to explore and progress at his or her own pace, without fear of failure.
Children are encouraged to express themselves-both in free-form arts as well as those designed by the teacher, celebrate the seasons and the holidays, while also providing for the development of fine motor skills.
The spiritual life is an integral part of the education of a student at St. Anastasia School.
The ability to read starts with the enjoyment of hearing books read aloud.
At various times, children also use puppets or props to retell favorite stories.
They also write their own stories about things that they have seen or done in school.
Our classroom has a lending library where each child has their own library card and may borrow books to enjoy at home.
