DSI is an amazing school to send your child to! I have loved seeing my son grow in skill and in his desire to learn. He goes to school happy every day and comes home telling me about all the fun things they do! Cathy has created an amazing environment for all the children.

DSI is teaching in a manner in which all schools should adapt. Gone are the traditional, non-focused methods of learning at DSI. The approach is much more intuitive and taps into the children's natural curiosities. The staff and families that are here are just that family. The older children have taken on an inmate role of nurturing the younger kids, and they are quite protective of them. You cannot ask for or find, a better learning environment than this.

We have been so happy with our experience at DSI. The teachers are so kind and helpful. They make learning fun. We love the smaller classroom size.

DSI has been wonderful for our two children. This is our fourth year with the school, and I truly feel they are doing something that no other private school in the Woodlands area offers; the academics are challenging, project-based, and enriching, and they truly teach to the whole child, caring about and working on their social and emotional growth as well.

With an upcoming move to the US, choosing the right school was our top priority, and we are delighted with our choice. With a truly enriching enquiry based programme, DSI are meeting our children's individual needs, which is allowing them to flourish academically and grow in confidence. All the staff are amazingly supportive and readily keep us updated with progress and feedback. Most importantly, we have happy children who love their school!

As a family new to the area last year DSI provided excellent emotional and educational support to my child. The teaching staff is fantastic and the approach has allowed him to grow confidence in the areas he has historically struggled. We love the diversity in the school and the supportive community. We are excited about the plans and highly recommend it!

DSI has been the perfect fit for our two children. The teachers are warm, caring, creative, and in tune with the student's interests and abilities. The environment encourages curiosity, questioning, and seeking and the teachers support the students on their journey to find answers and solutions. I have seen my children`s excitement for learning grow exponentially, as well as their confidence. One of my children is disappointed when the weekend arrives because they cannot be at school. I appreciate that they challenge the students in areas where they are ready for a challenge and help them in others areas where they might need some fine-tuning. We feel fortunate to be in an environment with passionate, highly trained, and successful educators.

My now 10-year-old twin girls have been at Discovery School for 2 years now having moved from public school during covid. What a blessing! In their first year, we learned so much more than we were ever told about them at public school. They had some setbacks in reading, math, and speech development that we were unaware of. Their teacher spent extra time in the mornings with each one individually to help them progress. The emphasis on the whole person is something we really looked for. The girls now have a strong foundation in social/ emotional skills. They have had multiple opportunities to explore and follow through on their own learning interests. They have seen the value of community service through a number of meaningful activities at the food bank and through meals on wheels. The girls have grown into responsible, curious, and excited learners and leaders with the help of their teachers and the community environment at the school.

We wanted a school for our children that focuses on developing the whole child; physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural, and spiritual elements. Discovery School of Innovation (DSI) is a wonderful inquiry-based learning environment. The gifted and dedicated teachers cultivate intellectual and academic strength through conceptual rather than procedural knowledge. They nurture the child's growth and understanding by guiding the kids in testing and pursuing paths of inquiry. DSI supports my children (all students) to have the courage to take risks in their learning journey; to expand, develop and consolidate their learning and knowledge foundation through natural curiosity, reflection, and improvement. The school environment promotes independence, personalized learning and goal setting, problem-solving and critical thinking in a climate of acceptance, respect, open communication, and collaboration. The school guides the kids to explore, create, trial, review, assess, and improve with the integration of concepts across subjects and a wonderful focus on incorporating the natural world as an essential part of their 'classroom'. My child's love of learning and confidence that they foster in the kids is in a school environment of respect for others, ideas of others, other cultures, and our natural environment - promoting informed, considered, and balanced civic and global awareness. DSI has a WONDERFULLY low student: teacher ratio too. We also love qualitative and quantitative reporting. We are thrilled with DSI as we see our children flourish in their care and guidance. If Montessori and Steiner's educational approaches or inquiry-based learning resonate with you, Discovery School of Innovation is strongly recommended. We love it.

Oh man, what an amazing hidden gem! You have not seen what your child's potential is until they have experienced this school Discovery School of Innovation. It's one of a kind! As a parent, my intention and focus have always been on raising children with a balanced toolbox. I believe it will really serve my children in this changing world to have tools not only in academics but also in social-emotional skill sets. I went in just to observe and boom I was sold. First week of my daughter's school, my daughter came back with so much awareness, conscious verbiage, and a problem-solving mindset. You can't beat that. With my daughter growing so beautifully into her authentic self, we, as the entire family, are starting to enjoy little things in life a lot more. It's like my daughter goes to school and the entire family is learning. The verbiage, the care, and the support that I see at school are outstanding. This school has a very beautiful way of integrating and teaching all areas of LIFE as ONE! You just have to experience it yourself.

Discovery School of Innovation is a school of the highest caliber, and I feel lucky to have found it for my kids. Attending this school for the past two years has allowed my children`s love of learning and sense of curiosity to blossom. This is in addition to high academic standards, small class sizes, lots of time outdoors, and kind, intelligent teachers who go above and beyond to make sure my kids feel confident and motivated to keep exploring and learning every day.
