De Sales High School (Closed 2010)

DeSales is a Roman Catholic high school of the Diocese of Rochester which provides students with a faith-inspired education based on excellence in soul, safety, scholastics and sports.
DeSales exists to ensure a Catholic education is an option for future generations in the Finger Lakes.
As a school founded in the Catholic faith tradition, it is critical that we remain true to the teachings of our church.
The church has proclaimed the teaching and practice of peace and justice to be an essential part of our religion.
DeSales' uniqueness stems from its size and the academic achievement of the student body.
Operating within an intimate atmosphere is conducive to a desired, close interpersonal faculty-student relationship.
We believe that we must develop the spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth of the student; education is the shared responsibility of the Church, our school, the student, the family and the greater community; we must be faithful to Church teachings and committed to the service of God's people; in providing college preparatory academics, while offering a broad range of athletic and other extra-curricular programs; in enrolling a growing, diverse student body; we must strive to produce a graduate, who is intellectually inspired, confident and well rounded; and in promoting a commitment to civic service and leadership, as well as strength of character.
