I have two children enrolled in the Intermediate program at Canterbury Brook Academy of the Arts. Each of my girls have different learning styles, gifts, and challenges that their academic teachers were able to identify and utilize to help my girls become successful learners. The arts teachers inspired my girls to get out of their comfort zone and try something new (singing, dancing, and playing instruments). The visual arts teachers have created a passion for imagination and creation again in my children. My girls wake up every morning wanting to go to school; that has not happened in any other school my girls have been in. Every teacher in the school is invested in my girls education; academically and artistically. The social emotional learning program has been so beneficial in helping my girls understand their feelings as well as how to express them appropriately. CBA is a family that I am proud to be a member of. Thank you, Canterbury Brook Academy of the Arts for all you do for our children and our community.

My grandchild has blossomed at CBA. I am very close with her and have been there for every step of her educational journey. She is and has always been a strong student but she did not always felt seen in larger settings. Here she has close relationships with peers and teachers and administrators. She has cried at the start of every break because she loves school so much. We love that we are welcome at all family events and that it's not a "parents-only" situation. Even their dance was called The Family Dance. We love that inclusivity because families do come in all shapes and sizes nowadays. Everyone is accepted here, and I love that. Thanks, CBA!

Our daughter is thriving at CBA. She is an extremely bright young lady who also happens to have dyslexia. As a twice-exceptional special education student, she is very advanced in some areas and needs extra support in others. At CBA, she learns the way she needs to. She has goals far above her grade level in certain things while she is able to learn on grade level or just above in the areas in which she has struggled in the past. Her teachers are incredibly attentive and loving as well. She absolutely loves being able to explore the arts during school, and not having to rehearse for the Spring Musical during after school hours made it possible for our family to have her participate without worrying about transportation. She feels like this school is an extension of our family, as do we.

We had our child in CBA this year, and we cannot say enough good things! The early childhood program is fantastic. We knew that our child really loved art, but to listen to such a young kid talk about art history the way our child does now and use styles of famous artists just for fun is pretty amazing. We also were so impressed that our child not only got up on stage but performed right from the first showcase with great confidence. That's brand new and definitely a result of the SEL program. We love this new version of our child. There is nothing better than a kid who comes home happy and cannot wait to go back to school.

I am pleased to provide a review of Canterbury Brook Academy (CBA), where my child has been attending both virtually and in person. CBA has proven to be an excellent educational institution that offers a well-organized and engaging learning environment. One of the standout features of CBA is the small teacher to student ratio. This allows for personalized attention and support for students, especially when they encounter difficulties with certain topics. The teachers at CBA are dedicated and committed to helping students succeed, and the smaller class sizes enable them to provide the necessary guidance and assistance. The curriculum at CBA is structured in a way that promotes hands-on learning rather than mere memorization. This approach not only enhances the learning experience but also makes it more enjoyable for students. By actively engaging with the subjects, students are able to develop a deeper understanding and practical skills that can be applied in real-life situations. The transition from virtual to in-person classes at CBA has been seamless, and I appreciate the school's efforts in ensuring a smooth and safe return to the physical campus. The school's commitment to providing a safe and conducive learning environment is evident, and it has given me peace of mind as a parent.Overall, I am highly satisfied with the education my child is receiving at Canterbury Brook Academy. CBA is a fantastic school. The community that is fostered among the students and faculty is unlike other schools. It's so wonderful to see students of all ages/grades working together and supporting one another. My child was left behind in public school and has been challenged academically and socially and both were very much needed. Very grateful for the amazing school.
