I'm a parent of a kindergartener and I appreciate the frequent and positive communication from my child's teacher. All of the staff are friendly and very accessible. I like that the TK/K classroom has Spanish immersion in the afternoon. I am also extremely happy with the small class sizes, you can't beat an 8-1 student-teacher ratio and the one-on-one support for your child!

My son attended Kindergarten there last year and I just completed enrollment for him into first grade this year as well as enrolling my youngest into transitional kindergarten. I, myself, as well as my husband, am an alumnus of AVAS. And while I am very content with the atmosphere in which I grew up, I cannot even begin to tell you how impressed we have been by the education are kids are receiving here now. My son went from just knowing his basic ABC's and 123's before entering school, to reading, writing and understanding basic math in only one year of kindergarten. We were amazed. Plus, he learned so much more about the Bible than we had already taught him it was so heartwarming. I would recommend this school to any parent that is looking for a super hands-on environment where your kids can excel, at their own speed and most importantly learn more about the love of Christ and how to live like him. If any of those happen to be a priority for you as a parent looking for a school, then definitely send your kids here. I feel so blessed to have found such a perfect place for my babies to receive their education. God bless.

I am a current parent at AV Adventist School. My boys have attended this school since Kindergarten. I am very content with this school. It has a great family atmosphere and God is the center of the school. The teachers are great. They go above and beyond to help the students succeed. The teachers are credentialed. The staff really cares about the students. There are extra curricular activities for students in all grades. Before and after school care is provided. I can go on and on about this school. I highly recommend it!
