School Notes
- Westside Christian Academy opened its doors in the fall of 1996 with the vision of providing an excellent academic program, presented from a biblical wordview. Our program includes Bible, math, grammar, literature, science, history, Latin, physical education, and the dramatic arts including choir, music theory, art, and drama. All subject either meet or exceed the standards set forth by the Ohio Department of Education. The challenging curriculum integrates the philosophy of the classical education and our small class size ensures that each student receives individualized attention on a daily basis. WCA's philosophy embodies the concept that education is more than just academics; it also involves character development and spiritual formation which enables children to fulfill God's will in their lives.

Our family has attended WCA for six years. We love that the school teaches from a biblical worldview in all subjects. We were searching for a Christian school for our children and having a classical Christian education in Cleveland is a huge blessing.

WCA has been an enormous blessing to our family! All of our children attend and it is such a gift to have them growing and learning in a place that points them to Christ and partners with us raising them. Our oldest often comments that school "feels like family!" The community is strong and while not perfect, does strive to love one another in unity. And yes, it is academically rigorous, but I am thankful that in a culture of ease and mediocrity, WCA strives to teach students to think logically, rightly, and Biblically and to also shape their affections to that which is true, good, and beautiful. We praise the Lord for WCA!

This school has been nothing but a blessing to my family. It is genuinely Christian and thoroughly classical. My children have been taught not merely what to think but how to think. I am utterly convinced that this institution's graduating classes will make this world a better place. I can't say enough good things. I urge you to take a tour and prayerfully consider partnering with WCA to educate your children.
