- Westmark School transforms lives. Since our students learn differently, we teach differently. At Westmark, we provide research-based, individualized instruction for early intervention. We build on the strengths of students inGrades 2-12with language-basedlearning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or other math or reading learning disabilities which are often combined with ADD or ADHD. Westmark's college-preparatory curriculum differentiates instruction based on student need and allows children to discover not only their personal academic style but their strengths and areas of need as well. Through the integrated use of assistive and educational technologies, our students learn to love learning again, discover their personal learning styles and strengths, and develop new interests, character and confidence to fulfill their potential. Westmark is about much more than just what happens in the classroom. In the classroom, on the stage and on the field, these bright students have what it takes, and Westmark has what they need: a warm and stimulating environment that turns struggle to strength and challenge to opportunity.Since its founding over 30 years ago, Westmark School has provided students with a college-preparatory curriculum and traditional independent school experience offering competitive athletic teams; performing, visual and digital arts programs; service and experiential learning; student leadership opportunities; and a variety of after school enrichment classes. Westmark has much to offer motivated, creative, and multi-faceted children.
