Caring teachers offer curriculum tailored to fit the needs of each student at whatever level he or she is at, meeting varying academic needs. Fine arts and athletic opportunities are offered and celebrated. A great hot lunch program is available prepared at the local public school and served by a top-notch server who greets the students with a giant smile as she works alongside parent volunteers to feed the children daily. More importantly, social, emotional, and spiritual growth is nourished as Christ is woven throughout the curricula and activities at TCS. Timothy Christian School offers much more than a good educational experience with daily Bible class and a weekly chapel service tacked on--rather, ALL subjects are taught through the lens of Christian faith. Parents and staff work together to fulfill the mission of "training for Christian service".

I am writing this review not as a parent nor as an alumnus. My connection to the school is one as an interested adult in Christian education. I taught in the public school system for 31 years. I have been a visitor in Timothy Christian School at Wellsburg, Iowa, several times. My heart has been warmed because of the relationships not only between the teachers and their students, but with all the other adults within the building. The student starts the morning with a heartfelt smile and good morning from several persons. Think of how much better our days would go when we have many warm wishes and people who are genuinely happy to see us! I like that TCS is a small school with a homelike atmosphere. Learning is evident in all corners. As a former public school teacher, I can appreciate the smaller size classes. There are many other side activities for the kids to be involved in. I wish that this opportunity of experiencing a small teacher-student ratio could be available to all young people. The classrooms are bright and full of activities for the young mind. I would happily endorse this school to anyone looking for a great experience for our young learners!

Timothy is a small Christian school with high academic standards serving children K-8, and promotes a Christian worldview. Prayer and Bible instruction are a daily part of the routine. The teachers are flexible and work to make each student succeed. The staff is cheerful and knowledgeable. Students are in excellent hands.

Quality learning for kids that prepares them for high school, college and life beyond. The staff and teachers really care at Timothy. No regrets sending our kids here...your kids can be part of this special place too!

I love everything about it. It's fun. Even though it's small, I learn so much, and the teachers and other students are great. O know everyone in the school. Our sports are really good. We''ve won a lot of tournaments the last few years. You should enroll right now!
