WELCOME!
Immanuel Lutheran Preschool began in 1977. Since that time it has remained faithful in "Preparing Children for Life". Not only do we prepare your child in the academic, social, physical and fine arts areas for life here; but most importantly, we share God`s words of Scripture and prepare your child for life eternally. We are a unique educational environment in the Cedar Valley. But we are part of a larger body, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Today, Immanuel Lutheran School is one of 2,200 Lutheran preschools, elementary and secondary schools whose mission is to educate the whole child.Children are truly a gift from God, and each one is God`s unique creation. God has given to parents the wonderful responsibility of raising their children. You are truly their most important teachers. We want you to know that ours is a supportive role; to assist you in any way we can to help your child reach his/her God-given potential in these early learning years. We consider it an honor and a privilege to have your child at Immanuel Lutheran Preschool. We, as a staff at Immanuel Lutheran Preschool, are committed to serving you and your family and fellow members of God's kingdom.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the primary goal of Christian education is to provide each student an opportunity to learn about God`s plan of salvation and his/her part in that plan, and to develop, to maximum potential, the basic skills essential to function effectively as a responsible Christian citizen in a changing world. We recognize that an individual`s growth into a knowledgeable adult encompasses more than fundamental skills. Therefore, a learning environment which provides sound Christian teaching, and promotes service to God, responsible citizenship, effective work habits, self worth and respect and appreciation of one`s fellow people will be provided.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6We believe that God has given your young child fantastic potential for becoming a creative, successful, serving person. During the early years, rapid growth takes place and important habits and attitudes are being formed. We believe that early childhood education must be holistic in nature; dealing with the child's intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth. We believe that children learn through different styles of learning experiences, play being one of the most important. We realize that the primary responsibility for your child's growth and development rests with the parents and normally takes place within the home. We view early childhood education as a successful beginning to the many years of formal education aheadWe provide our students with the tools they need for future happiness and success. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child`s best interests in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. It is a cooperative learning adventure for your child, your family, and Immanuel Lutheran Preschool.Get in touch to learn more!
