The Mount Academy is a four-year high school founded by the Bruderhof, a Christian community movement.
The Mount Academy strives to inspire its students to excellence in every undertaking, and to a life of serving and caring for others.
All instruction seeks to instill respect, self-discipline, and a strong work ethic to achieve the best academic learning possible, and help each student discover their individual strengths. The school is housed in the former Mount Saint Alphonsus seminary built by the Redemptorist Brothers in 1907 on the banks of the Hudson River.
In this magnificent setting, students are formed in the school ethos of excellence and service and inspired to give their best regardless of their ability.
