The Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica Estates, N.Y. is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women sponsored by the Sisters of St.
Joseph of Brentwood, N.Y. Our mission is rooted in the mission of Jesus- to heal, redeem and liberate all people.
We strive to reflect this by being a reconciling and non-violent community, fostering unity and all-inclusive love.
The Mary Louis Academy provides an atmosphere which fosters academic excellence and respect which in turn nurtures the whole person by integrating faith and life.
Consistent with the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, The Mary Louis Academy seeks to develop leaders who are rooted in Gospel values and committed to creating a just society.
We are a community that celebrates cultural diversity. We recognize that we share a partnership with parents and guardians in developing young women who will take responsibility for their life choices and value service to their community.
In a world increasingly impersonal and technological, we endeavor to empower each student to realize and value her own unique spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and social potential as a leader in today's society.

I absolutely love The Mary Louis Academy. There is a strong sense of community, and our teachers and the faculty really care for our social, mental, academic, and physical wellbeing. TMLA produces well-rounded, articulate, and powerful women who go on to hold high up positions in the world. I am always challenged and engaged in my classes, and I highly recommend that you send daughter here if you want her to spend her most precious and formative years around young women of excellence. I am in my last year at TMLA, and the time really flew! HILLTOPPER NATION!!!!
