For the past 95 years, St. Sebastian Parish School has provided a high-quality, catholic education to students in West Akron.
While continuing our long tradition of excellent education in core subjects taught in a faith-based environment, St. Sebastian also stays on the forefront of educational technology and teaching methods.

New school entrance, HAVEN Lockdown Devices, upgraded access control system, additional outdoor cameras and an enhanced PA system make our school grounds safe for students and visitors.
The opening of our Innovation Lab, a maker-space classroom that houses an amazing array of educational materials and offers a large, flexible space for project-based, active learning allows are students to collaborate and become better critical thinkers.
Our 1:1 Chromebook program provides technology that creates a personalized learning enviroment for every student in grades 5-8. The school is also equipped with multiple chromebook carts and ipad carts on every floor to assist all grades in learning on both platforms.
Recently, every classroom was equipped with a Hover Cam that assisted students who needed to learn remotely.
Also Beam Audio Devices were placed in every classroom to optimize hearing for all students.
New student desks with larger work spaces, flex-back chairs, built in storage and lockers were added to classrooms giving the learning space a much more modern look.
