I am an alumna of SPPS and could not be happier with my overall experience! I cannot think of a better way to describe the community of St. Philip Preparatory School than a family. The teachers are compassionate, supportive, and professional, and encourage students to reach out of their comfort zones. In regards to academics, I'd argue that SPPS offers some of the best academic programs in comparison to other private schools in the area. There are various advanced classes offered for literature and mathematics that help prepare students for the heavy course load of high school. I can personally attest to that fact, as I felt extremely well-prepared entering my freshman year of high school. SPPS also offers a broad range of extracurricular activities and fine arts class. The Fine Arts middle school program is truly exceptional, as it allows students to explore various areas of their interest. There are many opportunities for students to join extracurricular activities, including the school choir, theatre production, and various athletics teams! The community of SPPS also has outstanding school spirit! Overall, St. Philip Prep. is an incredible academic institution that makes its students feel comfortable, prepared, and excited to learn! SPPS has provided me with so many opportunities to grow and succeed both academically and socially!
