St. Nicholas Catholic School

We consist of three schools in one! Students can study at the Preschool and Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle school levels.
We are conveniently located in downtown Gig Harbor, not far from the Wallochet exit on Route 16.
We have experienced, caring teachers. They teach the same curriculum as the public schools with the addition of instruction in Catholic Christianity.
Our students go on to excel at Bellarmine, Peninsula, and Gig Harbor high schools! Families appreciate St. Nicholas because "you can just feel the love here;" "I know other parents care for my son too;" "My whole family feels a sense of belonging here." We welcome families and students of all faiths.  Come, take a tour!!.Call 253-858-7632

Our family is so blessed and grateful for St. Nicholas School, its leadership, teachers, staff, students, and families. This is a small community that offers excellent academics within a Christ-centered school focused in helping students to be Saints and Scholars. My daughter is an alumnus and now my grandkids continue our family tradition as St. Nicholas ' students. My grandkids love the sports and the extracurricular activities offered throughout the school year also. We are all family at St. Nick's!

I went here from Kindergarten until 8th grade and I can say with certainty that St. Nick`s has some of the best teachers ever. It`s more like a family than a school; you get to know everyone and learn alongside them. Honestly, my favorite memories so far revolve around my experience here and I miss it :)

Our family loves St Nicholas Catholic School! The teachers are very caring and go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of our kids. They have been very accommodating with my oldest child's unique learning needs and have added valuable input to his learning plan. I truly feel that the staff have a calling for what they do and it shows. They not only focus on academic success but work on forming each child into becoming the amazing individuals they were meant to be.

St. Nicholas Catholic School has been a blessing to my family for the last 4 years. Beyond feeling truly like a family on campus, what has really impressed me of late is their plan for distance learning in light of the global pandemic we are facing. My two children had no extra down time-they were up and running with their learning the next available school day. This is a testament to the amazing staff and teachers!

I am a teacher at St. Nicholas, but I am also a parent. I have one child who has graduated from St. Nicholas and one child who still attends in Middle School. St. Nicholas is a unique community - more like a family than a school - where children of all ages learn, play, and pray together. St. Nicholas provides academic rigor, but also guides the faith and overall development of its students. It most definitely teaches the whole child and does so in an environment that is warm, inviting, and engaging. The teaching staff and community of parents work together to create a school experience that is truly special.
