Our mission at St. Mel's School is to promote and enhance each individual's wholeness in an academic environment with Christ as our primary model.
Catholic teachings and values, initiated in the home are reinforced by our examples of kindness, respect, and religious beliefs as a faculty and staff and are made an integral part of the students' everyday life in diverse communities.
We hope to foster in each child a sense of self-esteem by providing a quality Catholic education.
This is accomplished by assisting the student to discover and use the tools to develop his/her full potential spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.
This entails monitoring individual and group progress and communication with faculty, administration and parents to assure continued progress.
Working together, school, parents and children will be mutually supportive and responsible for the growth of all.
