As a former student, I loved this school so much, and it was extremely helpful to have had my Pre-K through 8th-grade education there. The teachers really prepared me well.

St Matthew provides an excellent education and environment. It is truly an extension of the home and family. Kindness is king, academics are appropriately rigorous, the staff is dedicated, and the parent volunteers are tireless and committed. I was blessed to have received my education at St Matthew School, and my kids love their school, teachers, and friends. They were returning to St Matt as a parent was like a giant hug. It is amazing knowing that the school community has our back as we try our best to raise our kids to be kind and to be confident to use each of their talents to better the world.

I knew once I atteneded an open house that this was the school for my children. Not only does it support and continue the Christian-Catholic Faith and strives for academic excellence, but it also offers a diverse community of cultures. Growing up a minority, this was especially important for our children. Our daughter is thriving and loves school; this here confirms that we made the right choice in schools, and couldn't be happier.

St. Matthew's is a place that when I drop off my children every day, I know they will be safe, they will thrive and they will be treated with kindness and respect. This is a community where everyone looks after each other, parents and teachers support one another and we genuinely want to see each child succeed to their full potential.
If you are looking for a place where you and your child will feel like you belong to a loving and accepting community, this is the place! Our school might be humble on the outside but we are rich on the inside! The halls are filled with diversity, teaching the children to see God in everyone.
Tour our halls during school hours and you will witness for yourself this wonderful place that has been the best kept secret in Seattle!
