St. Mary's Elementary School is committed to the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, the order which has led and served our school since 1862.
The School Sisters believe that Catholic education should be designed to enable children to reach the fullness of their potential as individuals created in God's image and to assist them in directing their gifts toward building the God's kingdom on earth.
Our program is designed to build a strong academic foundation for life-long learning.
Woven into our school days are activities and prayer designed to nurture a love of God and a passion for Christian service.
Elementary school is an important and unforgettable time, and for many of our students it is the most time they will spend at any one school or college.
St. Mary's excellent academic programs and encouraging social surroundings promote growth and self discipline.

We have been exceptionally pleased with St. Mary's Elementary School. All four of our children started at SMES in August 2022. They had a smooth transition from their previous school thanks to a thoughtful, caring, professional, and all-around wonderful staff. The administration and teachers are fabulous. The balance of, and focus on, religion, discipline, academics, and extracurricular activities is perfect. Our oldest will transition to SMHS next year while the younger three continue at SMES. We look forward to all of them continuing their journey at St. Mary's and another successful year!
