St. John Neumann Catholic School is a very welcoming environment. The students are happy, cared for, and well educated. There are lots of extra-curricular options with sports, art, and music. The kids are very involved providing great holistic education. Walking down the halls, smiling children who are actively engaged with their peers and teachers will be found. The environment is calm and happy. The positive culture is even evident by watching the custodians who proudly keep the school clean. The faculty do a great job teaching Catholicism and this is apparent in the behaviors of the children and the high scores on the NCEA assessment of Catholic knowledge. The teachers are all wonderful, but Sister Angela really stands out. There is nobody that will better care for the children, while still teaching literacy and religion. The children run to her when they see her. My own kid even ran to her trying to give a tackling hug in the middle of Mass (he is still learning). The education is superb as the students scored in the top 96% on the national Iowa tests. Also, the school scored highest in entrance exams for Knoxville Catholic School. Beyond testing, the children have a love for learning. The teachers will build inquiry into the lessons to engage the children. There are several private school options in the West Knoxville and Farragut area, but none compare to St. John Neumann. Students are provided the best education while learning the values and ethics that come with a Christian and Catholic education. It is a pleasure to see the happy children with a love of learning who are cared for and educated so well by the faculty and staff.

SJNCS is a great place for students to grow their faith and learn. The teachers and staff have high academic expectations and promote Christian principles. The principal knows all the students by name. Great place!

My wife and I have had two daughters in St. John Neumann Catholic School in Farragut. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We simply can`t say enough wonderful things about the academics, the culture, the families, and the faculty of this school. Our girls have proven to be extremely well prepared academically for high school and beyond. Their experience of representing their school in a variety of sports has cultivated a love for athletics and a healthy future. Our familes experience at SJNCS has given our daughters an incredible foundation to build-on as they mature into fabulous young women who are surrounded by wonderful peers whose families all seek to give their own children the greatest opportunities for a successful life where the love Christ is at the core.

My third child is currently a middle school student at SJN. My two oldest attended SJN though the 8th grade. After having been involved in this school for over 13 years, I cannot imagine a better elementary and middle school experience for my children. The faculty is dedicated and supportive, but firm. High school entry exam scores for SJN far exceed national averages and rank among the highest of the local private schools. My two oldest left this school feeling happy, loved, and well prepared for high school and beyond.
