St.Athanasius is an excellent school. The teaching staff is beyond excellent and the principal Ms. Competello is a gift from God to the school...I am so proud my Grandson is part of this wonderful Academy where he is being taught by the very best teachers in Brooklyn.

I attended this school in 1978 thru 1982 and absolutley loved how the teachers..Sister.Rosemary and Sister Nora Pegash also Mr.Rucci Mrs. Fopiano and she literally was our piano player...Mrs. Fopiano played the piano...all teachers showed how much theu cared to aid in making us into productive adults. One of the sisters would write quites one quite on the board that stuck in my mind was..."There is no such thing as a problem child just a child with problems"..If i can be a kid again I would want to relive my grade school days again with no changes everything was perfect...I am soon as possible wanting to relocate here a continue being a parishoner at the church of St.Athanasius.

I met the new principal, and she is a welcoming leader. I''m so happy we got Mrs Competello. The school is new already and classes didn't even start yet. Thanks for the change.
