St. Aidan Upper School

Saint Aidan, a Roman Catholic elementary school, serves our parish and the surrounding communities by educating students from nursery school through eighth grade.
We offer a quality program of instruction in a Christ-centered environment to encourage and guide children to become lifelong learners and committed members of both our society and of our Catholic Christian community.
Education at Saint Aidan School focuses on the development of the whole student.
The academic program is based on standards established by the New York State Board of Regents and by the Education Department of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Faculty, staff, and administration strive to develop, to examine, and to implement sound educational practices that afford students opportunities to master content to the best of their abilities.
Teachers recognize and honor the varied aptitudes and talents of our students, and endeavor to adapt the standards to accommodate a range of learning styles and student needs.
Beyond the standards, students are encouraged to think critically and creatively as they look toward their academic advancement, their vocations, and their avocations.
The faculty of Saint Aidan School consistently infuses the curriculum with Gospel values.
Acknowledging a parochial school's unique opportunity “to teach as Jesus did,” we encourage growth in faith and spirituality throughout all grade levels and disciplines.
Saint Aidan's faculty, staff, administration, pastoral staff, and families collaborate to provide and to sustain an environment where children can learn about, practice, and live their faith openly.
