Shepherd Lutheran School exists to assist the families or our congregation and our community by providing a high quality Christ-centered education for the training of lifelong Disciples of Christ.
Shepherd provides many opportunities for the students to excell in academics, music, and athletics.
Shepherd is served by four full time teachers who are qualified, dedicated, caring, and certified by the Wisconcin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
We are also served by many parental volunteers and volunteers from the congregation.
The Shepherd Roadrunners offer students an opportunity to participate in several sports, along with other private schools in the Albuquerque area, as well as the Denver and Phoenix area.
Those sports include Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Cross Country. Shepherd also offers the students an opportunity to sing in the School Choir or be in the Chime Tone Choir.
Shepherd has hosted the Reader's Digest Word Challenge the last two years.
Our students also participate in city chess meets, spelling bees and geography bees.
