I have 2 children that attend school here. I had moved them from public school and it was the best decision I ever made. My oldest was behind coming from public school when I moved her. They have worked and continue to work to catch her up and I can see a huge difference! My youngest was just in kindergarten when we made the switch. This school has some of the best teachers who truely care about each individual student. Although they only offer a few sports it's no biggie to us. The education they are getting is top notch and I know my kids will be more than prepared for college! They teach cursive to the kids in kindergarten!! It amazed me how easy it was for them to learn it at such a young age. You won't regret sending your children to this school.

I am a graduate of this school and have heard multiple times "didn't you miss anything with the school being so small?" and "did you have trouble getting into college?" The answer is yes and no. I did miss much of the outside distractions that can come from being in a large school system but no, I had no trouble getting into college. I have a bachelors degree (with many classes from a large, secular, state university) and I am currently completing my masters. I am no longer in the state but beginning to homeschool a high schooler, and I am quickly learning the tuition at Seymour is extremely affordable even compared to many homeschool curriculum options. I highly recommend this school.

SCCS is a great school! It isn't the biggest or the richest, but the quality is good and the teachers give the student as much help or attention as needed. Like i said it's not that big so there is not many after school activities, but there is basketball and or volleyball! overall i would recomend this school to anyone and everyone!

My kids have attended Seymour Community Christian for 7 years. We love the school. You get a feeling that you are part of a Big Family there. Volleyball and Basketball are current sporting activities. Many participate in the Fine Arts Competition that involve music, art, speech, drama, and chess. Academic Competitions are held as well.
