At Seattle Urban Academy, we are an alternative high school seeking to impact students and the community.
We are fully accredited by AdvancEd and meet all WA state high school diploma requirements.
We're a donor-supported program following Jesus' example of unconditional love.
Students come to us discouraged, misguided and battered by life.
Many are ready to drop out of school and give up hope for their futures.
Our approach is to address their whole person: spiritually, academically, relationally and emotionally; to graduate from HS, successfully transition to higher education and careers.
We know they must embrace a constructive understanding of themselves and the world before they can achieve academically.
So, while the academy's teachers are dedicated educators, they are also committed mentors, advocates and life coaches; providing one-on-one attention and individualized curriculum.
