  • Our youngest students in SSCA's Little Hearts Early Childhood Program benefit from a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum. Hands-on projects, classroom centers and play based activities nurture school readiness skills and growth across all domains of child development. Throughout the elementary grades, students engage in a robust academic program, which includes the introduction of the special subject areas of Art, Music, Spanish, Library, and Physical Education. Middle School students look forward to new academic and enrichment options that include regents level Math and Science courses and a competitive First Lego League Robotics team. In addition to STEM, SSCA houses a vibrant music program with opportunities to participate in band, chorus and The Young Composer Initiative.Across all grades, our teachers strive to encourage students to become enthusiastic learners who value academic and personal growth while embodying the values of compassion and empathy.
