Our Savior New American School

Our Savior New American School is a classical Christian school in the heart of Long Island.
As a Christian school, OSNAS takes its stand on the Word of God and Jesus Christ, the source of all that is true, good and beautiful.
As a classical school, OSNAS strives to cultivate wisdom, virtue and a love of learning in all students. We do this by studying classical works of enduring value, mastering the fundamentals, and teaching students how to think, communicate and live in a God-pleasing manner. OSNAS is best known for its family feel.
Small class sizes, zero tolerance for bullying, respect for authority, and Daily Prayer services are just some of the features that make OSNAS a positive environment for learning. We also run a state-approved Drivers Ed program as well as a longstanding preschool program (Pre-K) for 3 and 4 year old`s. Schedule a tour to see the difference a classical Christian education can make your child`s life.

OSNAS has a strong and committed team of teachers and administrators that seem immensely dedicated to bringing up Christ centered students to drive the future of American society with love, care and traditional values and morals. The focus on building great values as the foundation upon which to build strong mathematics, science and fine arts skills seems to be a great approach to preparing our students to approach life and its many and various opportunities and challenges with logic, persistence and a commitment to excellence. We really appreciate and continue to pray for and look forward to the successful and continued growth of the OSNAS students and OSNAS organization to spread the blessings further.

The best decision my husband and I ever made was sending our children here. We love the diversity in this school. Our children LOVE this school from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. The staff and teachers are truly amazing. They are caring and compassionate. The curriculum is top-notch, not to mention the amazing facilities. They are all so loving and so caring, and the communication is outstanding (the very best we have seen). We are treated more like family than a school. We love OSNAS and we plan to keep our children at OSNAS until they graduate from high school. If you strive to raise your children in the Christian faith. We highly recommend OSNAS! Great team & great school!

Our Savior New American School has created a quality education for students ranging from preschool age up to twelfth grade for over thirty years. Our savior stands firmly on the premise of excellence for many Long Island and international students daily. So what does Classical Christian Education consist of? For starters, nurturing and encouraging healthy mental, and physical development. Upholding Integrity with solid moral principles. Understanding respect, and being able to show admiration to others for their achievements. And, most importantly, welcoming God, and Prayer back into our children's lives while in school. These are superior qualities any child would thrive on. Undoubtedly a commodity I have not seen in the public school system since my son moved up from elementary school twenty years ago. Our Savior implements a structured program that defines secure critical thinkers. Children can analyze a particular subject to formulate a configured question regarding that subject. I have not experienced these characteristics of education in a very long time. Our Savior New American School located in Centereach, Long Island NY has been an incredible experience for my family. Watching my daughter, now sixteen years old, growing vigorously in her academics, sports, social and spiritual life is all we could ask for as parents. Especially living in these turbulent times. I happily write this review because if there is anyone else who is questioning the education your child or children are being subjected to every day, and you are searching for a better education in a healthy, safe environment then you need to visit Our Savior. Bring your child and or children and see for yourself. There is nothing like being associated with people and professionals who love what they do, while what they do is all good. I am humbled to have found such a lovely environment for my daughter to flourish daily. I thank God every day for His wisdom that guided me into what we needed. And I thank Our Savior's family for being there and doing what they do for all our children.

Being a parent of a 16-year-old girl, at the age of 61 years old, I beyond impressed with the religious education and the old-school values that have been lost in this country that has led to the downfall of the traditional American family. We took our daughter out of public school in 2020, and the difference in her personality and overall outlook in life is night and day. My wife and I would highly recommend Our Savior to anyone considering religious instruction and old-school values.

I have all three of my children at OSNAS. I feel blessed to know that my children will receive the same biblical principles that we teach at home. The class sizes are not overwhelming and the curriculum is classical and rigorous. This has enabled them to achieve on a level that has surpassed even my high expectations.

Our Savior has been a blessing for our family. Our daughter is now in the first grade and has been attending Our Savior since kindergarten. The class sizes are small and the staff really take the time to get to know each and every one of the kids. The school is truly invested in making sure your child is successful and as a parent, it's comforting to know you are leaving your child in good hands when you drop her off for the day. If you are looking for a Christian school that will treat you and your child like family, you found it.

I have two children attending OSNAS this year (2020/2021) one in 2nd grade the other in Kindergarten ...... amazing school I definitely recommend this school....... my kindergartener is much more advanced than her sibling was who attended kindergarten through public school for example.... phonics is one big difference I see and learning how to read a clock already, learning Spanish, using REAL money to buy lunch (which is actually real good from local restaurants) it truly amazes me the difference I see. My 2nd grader had some difficulty in the beginning of the year learning phonics but has adapted quickly and is excelling now and even made honor roll... last year when she was attending public school I had to hire a private math tutor but this year I don`t even really have to help her with her homework SHE GETS IT! I doubted sending my children to OUR SAVIOR but it was the best decision we have made. My son who is only 1.5 will definitely be attending OSNAS as soon as he's old enough. The principal is quick to respond to e-mails and I feel like everyone knows my children they don`t get lost amongst the others like in public school. HIGHLY recommend this school!

Our savior new American school has been a fantasist experience for my stepdaughter. She started in kindergarten and is currently in fifth grade. She sincerely loves her friends, teachers, classes and most of all Bible. Our savior is Christ centered. Daily prayer and chapel which is open to family as well is a great positive way to start your day. As a parent, I look forward to having my other daughter also attend our savior when she is ready for kindergarten. I myself also attended our savior. The school's core values are strong. The faculty is also strong. The teachers are like family they truly love their students. The class sizes are small, which is a great teacher to student ratio. As a member of PTC- parent teacher connection, which is similar to PTA, I must say the opportunities are endless. The school staff along with myself and other involved parents volunteer our time for school events for the children. Every year we have new ideas, and it's always worth it to see the endless smiles on our children's faces. If you are looking for an affordable, small, Christian centered school who will treat you like family, you have found the right school. The devotion of the faculty is unbelievable we are just super thankful and blessed. My husband and I recommend this school, especially if you are looking for the love of god to always come first followed by a strong curriculum.

I appreciate the well-balanced education my child is receiving. She participates in sports, clubs, and after-school activities. In addition to her core subjects, she also takes classes in foreign language, music, art, STEM, and Bible. The Christmas and Spring concerts are always a highlight for me.

My child has thrived at OSNAS both as a student and as a person. I believe this is because OSNAS places a strong emphasis on a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment. My daughter has ample opportunity to pursue her interests through various clubs (STEM, drama, art, etc). The teachers are what really set OSNAS apart. Their concern for my child's overall development is inspiring and much appreciated.
