At Oak Hill Christian School students are taught to read well, to write with clarity and style, to speak persuasively, and to express what they have learned in all subjects.
Students enjoy what they are learning because our teachers enjoy what they are teaching. Kindergarteners and 3 and 4 year old preschoolers learn to read using an outstanding phonics program.

My son started his educational journey at Oak Hill Christian School as a kindergartener this year and the experience has been fantastic. The school has far exceeded our expectations in every respect, providing an ideal balance of academics, emotional growth, and an engaging environment. At the heart of our positive experience is our son's incredible kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Weather. Her commitment to the children's academic progression and personal development has truly distinguished her in the realm of education. Mrs. Weather is highly skilled, caring, and shows a deep passion for her work, something that reflects in the strides each child in her class makes. Our son started kindergarten with some hesitation and difficulty when it came to reading. However, with Mrs. Weather targeted approach, consistent encouragement, and tailored teaching methods, he has improved tremendously over the course of the year. She has displayed an exceptional ability to recognize the individual needs of her students and cater to them appropriately, ensuring no child feels left behind. The reading support he has received from Mrs. Weather has not only improved his skills but also his confidence. Now our son reads with enthusiasm, eager to explore new books and comprehend the beautiful world of words. Witnessing this transformation has truly been a joy for us as parents.Beyond the academic quotient, the school's nurturing environment has reinforced our decision to choose OHCS. The school ensures a safe, comfortable, and positive learning environment for the students. The staff is approachable, kind, and is always willing to resolve any issues that arise promptly. The communication from OHCS is always timely, comprehensive and shows a genuine interest in parental involvement. School activities are well planned out, holistic, and add great value to the overall learning experience.OHCS, undeniably, holds my highest recommendation, especially for those seeking a superior, nurturing, and comprehensive kindergarten experience for their child. In conclusion, OHCS with its remarkable staff are well deserving of a five-star rating. They have truly made the first year of our son's educational journey an extremely positive and promising one.

Our son just finished his first year (1st grade) in the Oak Hill Kilns Program. We are more than delighted with his progress. His reading is excellent, his spelling is fantastic, his math is exceptional, and his knowledge in Christ and God is amazing. Oak Hills Kilns program provides an opportunity for part-time homeschool and part-time classroom. It allows us as parents to be very involved in our children's education, yet allows our kids to still experience the classroom environment 3 days a week. We highly recommend this program.

Very happy with Oak Hill Christian School. We put our daughter into their Pre-K 3 program and she had a wonderful time. She has learned a lot since the first day of school. Her teacher Miss Dennis and all the supporting staff have always been extremely kind and helpful. My daughter has had a very positive experience at this school and we plan to continue her education there for the Pre-K 4 program. She has improved in her reading ability (already at 3), writing skills, artistic ability, memorization, and has learned many new skills including sign language. We're very happy we made the choice to put her into this school and feel she will be well prepared academically in the years to come.

After having spent three years at another 'christian' school that turned out to be southern baptist and judged anyone not that, as well as teachers that were not actually licensed teachers- just parishioners of their church I begin searching for a better option. My search landed me at Oak Hill Christian. This is a true classical christian school. Your denomination does not matter, it is strictly about God. They teach the literature necessary for school and college. They have exciting subjects like logic & rhetoric that teach children to think for themselves and question what they see and hear. Oak Hill is a school that accepts all faith and nationalities without judgement. International students are abundant because the education is above anywhere else. They have contra dances, family game night, and movie night! At the end of my daughter's first day of 7th grade, she got in the car and I asked her how it was. She looked at me and said 'I love this school, everyone is friendly and the teachers are real teachers!' I know we are in the right place.
