My children have been at NMA for most of their lives. NMA prepared my children for the next level both spiritually and academically. Three of my children dual enrolled which allowed their transition into college to be easier academically. Their faith was encouraged all during elementary, middle school, and high school, and that faith base allowed them to move into college and plug into a church in college and strengthen their faith. The high school allowed the students to realize their God-given gifts and did not try to squeeze them into a mold. The administration is fair and consistent with how they handle students. NMA has a unique place in the Dothan area because it allows students to attend to be from all types of backgrounds, both economically and academically. The teachers are loving and treat the students as their own.

If you are looking for a Christian school everyone should look at Northside. My daughter has been there for 3 years and I don't want her to go to another school ever. Not only has she excelled in her academics she has great Christian teaching and examples that any parent would love for their child. The teachers truly are called by God to not only teacher but mentor their students. The school has an incredible family atmosphere I''ve never seen at any other school. I''ve seen great progress in the school overall this past year with campus improvements, parent involvement, and new things like eTextbooks and wireless technology on campus that is coming. I am excited what is happening at Northside and truly believe anyone looking for a school should take a strong look here.

We have attended Northside Methodist Academy for 12 years. Our oldest daughter graduated in 2007 and our youngest daughter graduates in 2013. We have had a wonderful experience at Northside and love it and the teachers, staff, coaches and other families. It offers a well rounded education with a Christian education being the first priority. Our oldest daughter was very well prepared for college and did well there and our youngest daughter is ready for college next year. We would highly recommend NMA.

The Knight Pride School Spirit Store at Northside Methodist Academy is fantastic! The store is stocked with a wide variety of t-shirts, monogramed koozies, ribbons, buttons, hats, visors, jackets, nice stadium seats, car tags and many many other items! The store is open every Tuesday, stop and shop!

We have been at Northside now for 3 years and think it is a great school. Not only have I been impressed by the academic education my child receives, but I love that they truly are a Christ centered school. Some schools have a "Christian" title but do not reflect a true Christian atmosphere. Northside proudly wears their faith on their sleeve. Their chapel services are contemporary and it is clear the students feel a real sense of worship there. The facutly truly loves your kids, makes time for them, and is easily accessible if you need them. The administration is very helpful and patient. Their office is awlays very busy but they make you feel welcomed, with a cheery and outgoing staff. And I LOVE the fact they teach Spanish from Kindergarten up! The facility is really nice. They have a HUGE library, a great gym, and well kept fields. I also love that parents get to be involved in EVERYTHING no matter what grade your kids are in.

My children are receiving a great eduction. The school uses the Abeka program with the exception of the Go Math series. The oldest goes to art, library, art, PE,computer and Spanish. The teachers are all great people with a Christian background.
