Newmark School

Newmark K-8 School and Newmark High School are state-approved, private schools serving children living with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues and other developmental disabilities.
Newmark believes in a highly structured educational environment that motivates and allows students to take an active role in their own learning, and where the student is at the center of the learning process.
We encourage academic risk-taking, collaboration, self-assessment/awareness, and reflection in pursuit of goals that reflect high academic standards.
Newmark is committed to helping our students succeed both academically and socially in an atmosphere that holds them accountable for their own achievement.
The cornerstone of each student’s development is an individually tailored, comprehensive academic program that utilizes an interactive, technology-infused approach.
Classroom learning is rounded out with training in social skills and responsible decision-making that is continually reinforced by our qualified staff.
Our learning system teaches students baseline skills, such as recalling, comprehending, and analyzing information, that give them the confidence to think and make decisions independently.
When these skills are mastered, students are challenged through realistic problem-solving activities that stimulate reasoning, foster creativity and integration of knowledge, and develop more sophisticated decision-making skills.
