I was enrolled in Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy at the age of 3. It proved to be one of the best decisions my parents made for my life. While there I was exposed to various types of cultures through travel, experienced a plethora of different activities through the school both academic and extracurricular, and was enriched through not just the education that all students should be provided but a personalized experience that would later help me grow as an individual. This school has blessed me with the tools to become the adult that I`ve envisioned being. Through them, I was able to receive an outstanding education at a private college and pursue a long-desired career in the culinary arts. I owe my alma mater everything and it is a privilege to be able to say that I am a proud alum.

I enrolled my two children into Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy International (MPCAI), in 1989. It was at a time when the educational system in my community was lacking, and I was concerned for the academic development and safety of my children. MPCAI provided a safe haven for my children, who through great love, concern, and nurturing were able to express themselves through various academic, and creative endeavors. MPCAI also provided continuous Bible instruction that helped cement their values, character, and love of God. MPCAI is a warm loving place with teachers and staff that truly love children, and endeavor to see them grow into a whole person, able to cope and hold their own in any given situation.

We are grateful for the academic training received by our son. The dedication of the teacher is individual per child. My son barely knew 30 percent of English, and here he improved his speaking and knowledge of the American language and culture.

Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy International (MPCAI) is a private school that provides each student the opportunity to discover himself or self. This school promotes academic excellence by meeting each student where they are, uplifting them in their areas of strength while assisting them in their areas of need. MPCAI is student-centered, and I have witnessed this school`s determination to always give the best in what it can provide. Students who were previously told they could never achieve have done so in many ways under the leadership of this school. Students have excelled in music, art, academics, worldwide travel, theater, etc. Each student who has attended MPCAI has learned life lessons that I have yet to see in many public or private schools. Students at MPCAI focus on character building, taking on the journey of what is right and wrong while getting to know God for themselves. Students from different backgrounds (race, ethnicity, economic conditions, and religion) have/are attending this school and have learned the value of true love. I taught at MPCAI for six years and feel blessed to have taught arts & crafts at this extraordinary institution. Not only did I learn about what it took to teach art, but also what it meant to be a part of something much bigger than myself.
