My son is a kindergarten student at Mount Zion Christian Schools. He has been learning social skills, responsibility, academics and kindness. His teacher has been outstanding in helping him learn and grow. We love the supportive yet challenging atmosphere at Mount Zion. As well as, their commitment to helping our son grow not only socially and academically but also in his faith.

Our daughter who is in 5th grade has been attending Mount Zion since Kindergarten. Her teachers throughout Elementary School were supportive and understanding of individual strengths and areas of growth while also promoting an atmosphere of striving for excellence and meeting one`s potential. So far Middle School has been an excellent adventure. The school took time at the beginning of the year to orient kids to the middle school process and our daughter is excelling even more. I love that she can go to the same school for K-12 yet still have different experiences of Elementary, middle, and high schools. If you are looking for a school that promotes strong academic and work skills while also teaching Christian worldviews and providing opportunities for students to walk out their faith, then Mount Zion could be a blessing to your child and family as it has been to ours.

The teachers and administrators are very kind and really care about the students. Wonderful community! They really highlight the importance of taking responsibility, putting in effort and taking risk, and persevering. Great school, I highly recommend it.

We are new to Mount Zion this year and have had a great experience thus far. The teachers have been so helpful in acclimating our kids to both a new school environment and a different curriculum than what they were used to. They are both thrilled with the move and doing well. My son had a few issues in the beginning of the year and instead of "this is a problem, a pain in the neck and he needs to fix this", the attitude was how can we come along side and help this kid and get him on a good path, using the skill set that God has blessed him with. Honestly, it blew my mind. I can't love the principal and his teachers enough, because as a parent, that was certainly not my first reaction. Praise God for their mercy and grace! My son is not the only example that I have seen. There are others and they are all dealt with in the same Christ-like manner. He is evident in all of the faculty and staff. The school is also very forward thinking and looking to stay on top of all of the latest school trends and teaching skills/methods.

I have a 2nd grader and pre-schooler at MZ right now, and my husband, myself, both the kids absolutely LOVE the school, and my 3 yr old can`t wait to start! The teachers and admin are so invested and involved with every single student. You never feel like a number. They are kind, wise and wonderful at what they do. I have been extremely impressed by the level of academics, the Biblical studies, and even by the way they approach recess and play time. They let the kids explore and take risks, teaching them self responsibility, which seems to have been lost in a lot of today`s culture. I could go on for days about all the ways that I love and appreciate this school, and I would highly, highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I have had the privilege of working for Mount Zion since 2007. I love this community for many reasons! The families who enroll here are wonderful. I love to walk through the hallways and see the faces of the children and teachers. In admissions I am often told that there's "something about the atmosphere of our school" that draws them in - they can sense the peace, the love. I believe it's an atmosphere created because of the spiritual foundation that we stand on. It is a house built on the ROCK! Another component is the spirit of excellence that starts from the board of our school and permeates throughout the entire school! Students are challenged to reach their full potential academically, physically and spiritually.

My son just started 5th grade with Mount Zion this year. We couldn't be happier! Here he is allowed to be a child, yet he is being taught to be a responsible young adult. He is learning how to apply his love for God to loving himself, loving others, taking responsibility for his place on this earth, and being the best version of himself he can be. Anger and sadness to return to school on Mondays and after vacations have turned into excitement and joy, what a change! Perfect, no, but what is!? Great and worth every penny, absolutely!

Both my boys have absolutely loved their time at MZCS, they have made good friends and have felt very loved and cared for by the teachers and faculty. We love the school, as well as the curriculum, Vision and very clear care for our children.

I am well pleased with MZCS efforts on my children's behalf. The staff here loves my children, what more could I ask. We are kept "in the loop", immediately alerted to any difficulty. (boys will be boys, don't you know). We have been part of the Mt. Zion family for 6 years now, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Steve& Becky

My daughter has been going here for a yr and a half. We love the christian environment and that it works towards high academic achievements and encourages the relationships of different age groups through Pride Partners and Community Lunch. Teachers all seem very invested. Freedom of exploration is encouraged

My daughter has been going to Mt. Zion since first grade and is now in sixth grade. My son started in kindergarten and is now in first grade. My younger son will also attend school there when he is old enough. I have seen the impact of a Christian education on both of my older two and I feel blessed by Almighty God through Christ to have the ability to send them to this school. The academic rigor of the school is top notch, but also leveled to allow slower learners to catch up and faster learners to be challenged. The school has a focus on serving God with and through the children and both children have become more caring, loving and thoughtful because of their time there. I know that when they ultimately graduate, find their vocation and go out into the world, they will have the strong foundation in truth, knowledge and righteousness to guard them from the evils of the world and make them light in the midst of darkness as they were intended to be.
