The Montessori School of McLean is a fully accredited school that is dedicated to the principles of the Montessori Method. As Dr. Montessori found that children learn better in multi-age groupings, all classrooms have students of mixed ages: Toddler (24-36 months); Primary (age 3-6); Lower Elementary (age 6-9); and Upper Elementary (age 9-12). MSM has two Toddler classes; five Primary classes, three Lower Elementary classes, and one Upper Elementary class. The Montessori Method is concerned with the development of the whole child, and allows children to develop at their own pace, and discover their innate love of learning.
