School Notes
- Welcome to Montclair KinderCare. When you walk through our doors,
you will feel the warmth that our wonderful teachers bring to this
center. Since many of our teachers have been here for four or more
years, we pride ourselves in the longevity of our staff. The
curriculum our staff teaches focuses on academic, emotional, and
social development in an engaging atmosphere for children from six
weeks up through 12 years in age. Every classroom is designed to
encourage growth of the whole child, which have designated learning
centers in classrooms, like a dramatic play area and learning
blocks, to give children the opportunity for rich social play and
child-initiated discovery.
You will also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect to both spoken words and print, we are helping to develop their early literacy and writing skills.
We warmly welcome you into our family, and look forward to celebrating your child’s success with you! - At KinderCare, the safety and security of our children is our number one concern. The doors to the classrooms are locked and require a keypad entry. All of our playgrounds are fenced. We have at least two people in the building at all times that are CPR and First Aid certified, 11 staff members in total are trained in both.
