My son is on the spectrum and transferred to MSA from another special needs school in the city. The school has full-time BCBA, RN, and highly trained teachers and staff in special education. Nowhere in NYC can you find a school so capable of dealing with children with varied and different needs than MSA. The school can handle them all because they are good at what they do! There is a data-driven approach to dealing with behaviors that is more effective than other schools because they take the time to understand what the core behavioral and other issues are. They have teachers who tailor their teaching to the emotional, social and academic needs of every child and the small class sizes (<10/class) helps in this regard. I now have a child who loves to learn and be in school. I am nothing but grateful for the support and love this school has given my son. They are extraordinary and a gift to parents like me. Thank you, MSA.
