Legacy Christian Academy is a mastery based educational program in which students do not progress until a solid base is established.
The classroom makeup is not that of a traditional classroom.
In a traditional classroom the student moves through the curriculum at the same rate as the other students, regardless of their understanding of the curriculum.
At LCA, each student advances through the curriculum at his/her optimum rate of achievement, whether faster or slower than the average student.
Biblical scripture, and principles of Godly character are woven throughout the individualized, goal-oriented curriculum.
Our unique curriculum, along with low student/teacher ratio, makes Legacy Christian Academy an excellent alternative to the traditional school.
Accelerated Christian Education is the curriculum utilized by Legacy Christian Academy.
The teachers and administration at LCA strive to instill Godly character training, development of critical thinking skills, academic achievement, and socialization for all students.

School Reviews

All of my children have graduated from Legacy. Our youngest was recommended by her public school teacher to find a private school that would work with her unique style of learning. Legacy was that place for her. Her teachers worked with her in a one-on-one setting to help her overcome her learning challenges and to feel confident in her ability to learn. My older children were able to work at their own pace and feel in charge of their learning. All of them have been involved in sports, community service projects, and drama. The diversity of the children attending the school and the integrated grades in the classrooms have taught my children the value of being an individual and accepting others who may be different than them. The staff and administration have been great with my children; patient and helpful with illnesses and multiple absences, empathetic and caring with anxieties, and awesome with communication.
