Thanks to the French Immersion Program my child was speaking and understanding a new language in days. L'Heritage Francais is the right choice for parents who value small class sizes where teachers give personalized attention to their students. I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful school. Take a tour and you will be convinced.

We first joined L'Heritage Franais in 2010, at that time we wanted a good preschool but we wanted a school where our daughter could start learning and not just a daycare. We were very impressed not only by the clean campus and small class sizes, but we noticed that all the children were very engaged in their classes with their teachers and peers. Parents are given the opportunity to volunteer on campus which allows you see what goes on in the classrooms plus you get to know the classmates and parents. We now have 2 daughters at this school, one in 1st grade and the other is finishing 6th grade, we are beyond blessed and grateful for this village who has helped us raise them. We are a non-French speaking family however, both of our daughters are completely fluent in French now and excelling academically in all areas. The teachers here have encouraged our daughters to not only excel in what they do but to be strong, kind, thoughtful, confident and conscientious about their friends and environment. In 2010, we did not fully realize the gift that we were giving our daughters with the dual immersion language program and today we see all the benefits in our girls. L`Heritage Franais is a very diverse school and it is not uncommon that many students speak 3+ languages. If you are looking for a preschool, we highly recommend that you at least take the time to tour L`Heritage Franais in person.

Started at L`Heritage for pre school and loved how clean and organized the school was. Transitioned my child to elementary program and by 2nd grade my child was fully Bilingual in English and French. The school caps at 18 students per class making the ratio of students to teachers much smaller than the other privates in the area. Principle Madame Si cares a lot for the students and it shows. The facilities are top notch and feature a science lab, computer lab, library and full indoor Gymnasium.

I researched many schools in the La Habra and Whittier neighborhoods, but I found most of them to be disorganized and not very clean. I came to an open house to L'Heritage from a friends recommendation and what a difference! The kids are in a new school with plenty of space, the teachers follow a lesson plan even for the 3 years olds and encourage their development. Instead of babysitting which I have seen most school I have observed do. After finding the price and the flexibility of the schedule which allows for half day, full day, part time or full time and even after school care, it works perfectly for my working schedule. My daughter did two years at the preschool and has started the elementary program which is bilingual English/French. Teachers are caring, the campus is new and clean. I encourage anyone looking for a preschool/elementary school and likes small class size and the idea of child becoming multilingual to defiantly come to L'Heritage

My daughter began the preschool at 2 years 9 months old, she had been at another preschool and we had looked into Montessori schools in the neighborhood, not only was L'Heritage spotlessly clean and well organized but the price is extremely reasonable. We immediately changed preschools after spending a day observing the classroom environment and how well the teachers worked with the kids. It is not simply a day care, it is a full curriculum. Couldn't recommend the school more! After two years my daughter became fully fluent in french even though we don't speak it at home. We have loved it so much that we enrolled her in the elementary program which is run half in English and half in French, and runs through grade 6. We have spent time with other relatives who have children the same age and what is covered at the school and the level of instruction is evident in my daughters progress. All classes are capped at a max of 18 students and the school offers many activities including choir, science lab, and full computer lab. We will be enrolling our second daughter in the preschool as soon as she becomes of age.

I am a parent of 2 children attending LHF. We have been at the school for 5 years now and could not be happier. I originally enrolled my children for the bi-lingual education but after being at the school for a few years I can honestly say that I would continue at this school even If they did not teach French. The class sizes are so small that your children will receive the attention they deserve. The teachers and staff are great !!!But the principal is beyond compare. She is the most dedicated and hard working person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The added bonus is hearing my children speak French.
