Jordan Glen School

The philosophy of Jordan Glen is based on the observation that even though there are universal and predictable sequences of change in children, each child is unique with an individual pattern of timing and growth.
Our commitment is to an educational program that values individual differences, to a process of exploration and discovery, and to meaningful academic study.
We feel our excellent staff gives us the opportunity to understand each child's specific creative, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
We consider ourselves advocates of children and childhood. We would like our children to enjoy their time spent away from home and feel that we exemplify our belief that the joy of living and love of learning need never be separated.
The faculty at Jordan Glen has a strong commitment to academic excellence.

Jordan Glen is a very special place, where we've been lucky enough to have both our kids attend since 2015. It's a school where kids can be kids. Run around, explore, be adventurous, study, play, roam, initiate, enjoy nature, sports, animals, creativity, music, and so much more daily. The classes are small and multi-ages. Kids get to interact with children that are younger and older than them, be mentors and mentees, grow their leadership and teamwork skills. The owner, Jeff, deeply cares for each of the students. He sees them as they are and loves them like family. We were so lucky to have our kids be in Jordan Glen throughout the pandemic. They could experience a safe, in-person, happy environment, with minimal disturbance to their "normal" school experience. We were also lucky to have Jeff there for them, giving close attention to each child, attending to their academic, social, and mental needs holistically. Thank you, Jordan Glen! We appreciate this schooling experience so much.

Jordan Glen is the best thing that has happened to my children. I have 2 kids enrolled there now. They are so happy. My kids look forward to school starting each fall. Where else can a kid get a great education and get to swim on Fridays!? JG is run by a family, and every child is considered a part of their family. Jeff, the founder of the school, loves all the students at JG, and they love him too. Class sizes are small so each child gets personal attention from their teachers. Students are allowed to learn at their own pace. If they are ahead in a subject, they don't have to wait for their classmates to catch up, they can simply move on. Children are encouraged to be creative and share their passions. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and teach electives each semester. I personally taught an elective there and greatly enjoyed spending time with the students. There is no other place I'd send my children to school!
