When we came to Manus my daughter was struggling in her public school and not receiving the attention she needed to keep up with her peers. At Manus She was given an assessment and provided with the appropriate work for her learning differences and at a pace she could achieve the goals that were put in place for her success. Not only did she thrive her first year , but it really boosted her confidence. The staff is very nurturing and they stay on top of all the students issues whether its educationally or emotionally. It so nice to drop your child off at a school where you know they actually care about the well being of the student.

We are so glad to be part of the Manus Academy family! There is not another learning institution in the Charlotte region that has the individualized learning plan and holistic focus on the well being of each child. Each child can learn at his/her pace. There is minimal homework. A sense of community is present with every Teacher teaching social and life skills, at every opportunity, in addition to the academic curriculum. We highly recommend Manus to any family looking for a new school for their child.

We needed help. My son was slipping through the cracks of the Public School system. He needed a smaller student-teacher ratio and a more personalized curriculum to help bolster his confidence to better reach his potential. Manus Academy was the right choice for him and us. He has blossomed in his time there and loves going to school again.

Manus is an excellent school. My autistic son has attended for two years and we plan to stay. They create a curriculum tailored to his academic and social needs.

Manus has been a great experience for our son. He has learned that his learning challenges are just challenges, not complete road blocks to his success. Each of the teachers that have interacted with our son have encouraged him to give everything he tries his absolute best. The kids are held to a standard all their own.Homework is given when the child shows mastery or near mastery. This helps tremendously as our son feels success and knows he can do it.Communication with both the leadership and staff at Manus are excellent. We work together annually to plan for and execute the education plan for our son. Our son's educational plan is set specifically for him. There isn't a one size fits all solution at Manus. As our son has grown and changed, so does his educational plan. We could not be happier with Manus and all it has done to help our son!

I love this school. They have helped my child so much. When he first came to manus he couldn't do simple fraction problems now he is in a tenth-grade math class. My son also is dealing with the issue of having a difficult time with keeping his outbursts under control and manus is helping him with this problem . Overall this is the perfect school for any child.

Great place for kids with learning barriers/executive function issues. Roseanne Manus and staff give their all to these children. The class sizes of no more than 6 are ideal for ADHD kids and the teachers have therefore the time to prompt and keep on task.
