My children are in their 3rd year at HCCS. We transferred to Hunter after our oldest child completed 3 years at another reputable area private school. Comparatively, Hunter is a breath of fresh air. The care and attention our children get from their teachers are second to none. Beyond that, the Hunter community - faculty, parents, and students - is unique. We truly feel that we are partners with the school in the education of our children. We are grateful to know that the values we are teaching our children at home are being reinforced during their time at school. We are continually amazed by all that they learn through the classical Christian education model. Choosing to educate our children at Hunter has been one of the best decisions we have made.

Hunter is a gem! This is our second year here and we could not be happier! The strong classical curriculum is language-centered with a focus on great books in literature, a solid historical foundation, and critical thinking skills, all while nurturing the spirit. Daily chapel, small class sizes, and a close-knit community are just a few of the amazing things that make Hunter stand out. The school`s new location inside Derbyshire Baptist Church is bright, beautiful, and welcoming, and we are looking forward to other exciting changes happening at school soon such as the installation of a new playground and a new playing field. If you are looking for a high-quality, Christ-centered education featuring small class sizes, incredible faculty, and a nurturing community, Hunter Classical Christian school should be at the top of your list!

Our daughter started here in kindergarten and we can not be happier with the education she is getting both academically and socially. Having teachers and administrators that lead and direct your child in the manner you do at home is priceless. Respect, obedience, and kindness are just a few of their expectations that model Christ`s likeness. They have chapel every day and bible recitation every Friday. We definitely look forward to growing at Hunter Classical Christian.
