Holy Cross School is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory school founded in 1849 by the Congregation of Holy Cross to educate young men from metropolitan New Orleans.
Holy Cross School is the only Catholic School in New Orleans for boys grades Pre-K through 12 and is fully accredited by the Louisiana State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Founded by Blessed Father Basile Moreau, a Holy Cross Education is deeply rooted in a family atmosphere where "The mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart."
