Heritage Montessori Of Murphy

Heritage Montessori Academy has two locations, Murphy and Allen. It is a curriculum based school based on Dr. Maria Montessori developed methods of teaching.
All of our Primary teachers are Montessori certified and the school is American Montessori Society (AMS) certified.
We serve 6mos. to 12 year children. This school was expanded in 2007 to double the capacity due to the growing demand.
We have dedicated and highly motivated teachers who value the experience of your and your child at HMA. We have a wonderful atmosphere for the children where they learn how to manage themselves, thier work, their schedule and learn to collaborate with others.
The curriculum is designed to fit the individual child's ability which fosters enthusiasm, interest and quick learning.

  • Heritage Montessori Academy (HMA) is a beautiful facility with ample outdoor space for children including their own garden and plant nursery. HMA also has a large gymnasium and outdoor covered play yard, security camera system, computer based check in/out system, keyless security entry. Activities include field trips, outdoor play, class room learning activities, music, drama, parent lesson nights, parent get togethers, Parent-Teacher Organization, year round festival activites. HMA offers a rich experience to the senses of your child for both intellectual and social growth. Additional activities include Spanish, Music, Computer Lab, Arts and Crafts, Dance / Stretching
