Haymarket Baptist Church Preschool & Kindergarten was established in 1989 as a non-profit organization.
We create opportunities to develop social skills, enrich them with developmentally appropriate activities, and foster friendships, patriotism, respect and caring for others.
Our accredited programs and activities are designed to teach and encourage each child's natural curiosity, give them opportunities to learn about God, and prepare them academically for kindergarten and first grade.
Our mission is to help children discover the joy of learning and the love of God.

School Notes

  • HBCPK is an accredited preschool and kindergarten program with credentialed, experienced teachers. We are a member of the Virginia Private School Association, and Association of Christian School Interntional. We have classes for children age 2 1/2 thru 5 yrs old. T/Th or W/F for 2 1/2 yr olds, T/Th, MWF morning or afternoon for 3 yr olds, and MWF for young 4's, M-F Pre Kindergarten for 4-5 yr olds, and Kindergarten for 5-6 yr olds. We use a mix of Abeka and ACSI curriculum as well as many teacher inspired ideas. We value fitness and music- with classes each week for the children. Art project daily, snack provided, 2 large fenced playgrounds, security cameras throughout the facility and outside. Lot of fun and engaging activities geared for all children! Plenty of ways for parents to be involved! Children are loved and nurtured on a daily basis, emphasis on good character, weekly chapel, daily Bible stories, prayer before snack and a positive reward incentive program.
