DGCS is by far one of the best private Christian school in the area. The staff is amazing. They all are very dedicated to growing our children in Christ and challenging them academically. The commitment to each and every student is amazing. The school also offers many after school activities to keep our children growing. Our son participated in Jam, art club, science club, chess, school musicals and others. The students are challenged to get their full potential but not pushed beyond their limitations. We are very impressed and grateful to the teachers and staff. The teachers are very friendly, happy and helpful. Our son loves this school. I would highly recommend this school.

Downers Grove Christian School is a wonderful school. The teachers go over and beyond to help students out. You can tell they love and care for the children. Most importantly, faith and God are part of the everyday curriculum. Character and morals are taught daily. God has truly blessed our family with being a part of DGCS.

We have been so pleased with our years at DGCS! Our kids are now older-elementary and junior high-aged and have attended since preschool. They have been well-loved and cared for by wonderful DGCS teachers and staff and have built great friendships in their classes. They've both been challenged academically by teachers with high standards and expectations, who also make learning fun! DGCS has a strong academic foundation--including accelerated math starting in 5th grade and chances to shine academically in the Speech Meet, Reading Fair, and Science Fair--along with offering weekly "specials" classes in art, music, computers, and Spanish (and Spanish daily in jr. high plus the other weekly specials). Older kids have the opportunity to connect with younger students as Reading Buddies and Spanish Buddies, and all students can participate in a wide range of extra-curriculars. My son and daughter have both loved competing on the girl's and boys' volleyball and basketball teams, being a part of the drama club, tech club, JAM (Jesus & Motion creative arts group), beginner and concert band, and other art, STEM, and chess/game clubs over their years here. DGCS students are prepared academically and well-rounded creatively and socially, all while being rooted in their faith each day at DGCS. I know my kids are loved at DGCS and they will be prepared as they launch into the next chapter of high school and beyond.

My experience with DGCS is that it goes above and beyond in teaching and has exceeded my expectations as a safe, loving environment. I have had three older children go through the school from preschool all the way to eighth grade and currently have two children in the school now. Not only did DGCS prepare my older children for high school incredibly well, it actually prepared them for college. I am highly satisfied with the excellence in which my children were and are now being educated. This school is Christ-centered, Academically rigorous, relationally focused, and Excellence driven. The teachers are at the heart of the school as they have poured their passion for education into the ministry of Downers Grove Christian School.
