Covenant Day School (CDS) has been a blessing to our family. The faculty and staff genuinely care and nurture students. They make it a priority to ensure a partnership with parents to guide and lead students from a place of biblical truth. They also look at the whole student, not just intellect, but the spiritual, mental and physical. There are some schools that come close, but CDS is truly unique.

We have a lower school student at Covenant Day School, and we cannot say enough good things about the school and community. If we had to make the decision again, we would still choose Covenant Day. Biblical integration was a priority for us in choosing a school, and we feel the level of biblical integration at Covenant Day is unmatched. The academic curriculum is solid, and the faculty and staff are qualified, caring, and nurturing. Our student loves Covenant Day as much as we do, and he is thrilled to go to school and learn.

Covenant Day School has been a wonderful blessing to our family. The school community, faculty, and students hold true to a biblical worldview, academic excellence, and servant mentality. We deeply appreciate the school providing our children with such a Christ-centered approach. The main reason we chose CDS is having a desire for our children to learn the Bible to its core and apply it to all areas of their life. The teachers have a heart for God and their work. Our daughter every year says, I have the best teacher this year! But really, they all are the best. The leaders are unmatched, and despite all they have going on, they always make time for parents and students and never make you feel like like are too busy. The admissions office, is incredibly organized and also very personal, and knows each child by name and really knows them! We are honored and thrilled to be a part of the Covenant Day School Community.

We spent a lot of time researching and touring private Christian schools in the Charlotte area and once our family stepped foot in the door of Covenant Day School we knew we were home. Our son`s face lit up after we left the tour (an unmatched reaction). The days following have been just as eventful and thoughtful and are exceeding our expectations. He has been provided an opportunity to be taught by teachers who love the Lord and love the students all while being academically challenged. What more could we ask for! We recommend Covenant Day School to any and all prospective families.

We are SO THANKFUL for our school. Joining this community has been like joining in the greater Kingdom for our family; it is fellowship with believers, the scriptural context for learning, and experiencing God's good creation through hands-on learning. Our kids are deeply loved and cared for by their teachers, the administration prays for wisdom with decisions, and there is joy through playground giggles. We are grateful.

My son started at Covenant Day in the 7th grade. He's now a rising 11th grader. From the moment our family attended the orientation, we knew that was the school we wanted him to attend. We like the fact the school adheres to Christian principles and students feel comfortable talking about their faith. We also appreciate that both parents have to be Christians for students to be admitted. There are no behavioral problems that I'm aware of, unlike the public school my son attended, which is why we took him out and enrolled in Covenant Day. My son is biracial; I am African American. When he first came to the school there was not a lot of racial diversity in students or staff, but today it has improved tremendously as the school has made a concerted effort to attract more minority students. So, if you want your child or children to attend a school where they will get a good education and morality still matters, I highly recommend Covenant Day School.

Covenant Day has been nothing short of an amazing place for my girls to attend High School. I have one daughter who graduated this past spring and one who is a rising senior. They have played sports and been active in clubs. The academics are rigorous and challenging. What makes Covenant so special is the PEOPLE. From their very first day when my youngest asked Mr. Davis where the band room was and he personally took her there, to every amazing teacher who has been so responsive and invested in both of our daughter's whole person, to the really terrific guidance team who literally made prepping for and applying to colleges easy. We can't say enough good things about Covenant Day. We feel fortunate and blessed to be a part of this amazing community.

My two children attend covenant day school, my husband and I are extremely happy with the staff and the entire CDS community. It's like one big family of God's children. If you are looking for a school that takes academics seriously while worshiping the one true God then, Covenant day school is the place. My kids are always looking forward to going to school. Each time I step on campus, I get smiles, and there is always someone asking to help me. It`s been like this for the two years that we have been at CDs.

My daughters have been at covenant day since middle school. The teachers are the gold! My soon to be senior daughter still talks about some of her favorite teachers. They made learning fun, and she knew they genuinely cared about her as a person. My other daughter just finishing middle school with a great experience and now looking forward to highschool with her sister. The teachers know the students by name and that makes a huge difference! Covenant Day has a strong academic program AND the spiritual component threaded throughout. I love that you don`t have to sacrifice one for the other.

Covenant Day has not only provided our children a fabulous education but also it has developed their Christian character, fostered meaningful friendships, and allowed them to grow as athletes. CDS nurture the WHOLE child. We couldn`t be happier to be a part of this wonderful community.

I attended middle school at CDS in the late 90's. The school has always had, and continues to have, an excellent academic reputation. At the time there was no high school, and I remember being sad that I would not longer be able to attend when I finished my junior high years. The teachers were caring and considerate, and the administration was fair and balanced. I hope to send my kids there one day, especially now that they have a high school.
